The summer dance session offered by the White Marsh Rec. Dance Program typically runs from the beginning of June until the end of July (usually 8 weeks), and ends with an observation night rather than a recital.  Please check the "News and Events" page for more specific information and registration updates.

As with the fall dance program, parents are not permitted in the dance room during class, and participants attend one evening class per week (no weekend or daytime classes are offered), with the length of the class depending on the student’s age, experience, and the classes being taken.  Additionally, ballet and tap are the only forms of dance offered during the summer dance session.

Example: All students participate in 30 minute classes.  Therefore, a dancer who has enrolled in ballet and tap will attend a 60 minute class (30 minutes for each type of dance).

Finally, please note that class meeting days and times are not announced ahead of time, as classes are not created until after registration (NOTE: a form, detailing the student’s availability, is completed at registration, and classes are then created based on the schedules received).

**IMPORTANT** Please note that certain age requirements must be met to participate in the fall session offered by the White Marsh Rec. Dance Program (see the “Age" and "Attire" tabs under the "Requirements” section of this website).
